The leaves are starting to change!
We are so lucky to live in one of those places where Mother Nature has one last fling every year before settling down into winter. As days shorten and temperatures become cooler, the summer green foliage is transformed into the vivid fall palette of reds, oranges, golds, and browns before the leaves fall off the trees. One of the best places to see just what beautiful colors are on the trees is the Foothills Parkway, just one mile from our driveway.
It’s time to start to think about winterizing your camper.
If you would like Misty River to winterize your RV, just give us a call at 865-981-4300 to make the arrangements. You can click the link below to learn more about our service or how to winterize your RV at home. Click Here:

Join us Thanksgiving Day
Dinner will be served in the Club House at 5:00.
On Thanksgiving Day, we will be serving dinner in the Club House at 5 PM for anyone who is camping Thanksgiving weekend with us. We will provide Smoked Turkey, right out of the smoker. All you have to do is bring a covered dish. Please let us know, if you will be joining our family for dinner by Monday, November 22nd, so we will know how much turkey to prepare.
When you RSVP, please let us know what you are going to bring, so we can help keep track of everything. The reason is, we don’t want to have 14 pots of green bean casserole and 4 bags of tater chips and lots of turkey. It's just like going to Grandma’s house for the holiday.
There are seventy-eight historic structures, including grist mills, churches, schools, barns, and the homes of early settlers, that preserves our Southern Appalachian mountain heritage in the park.
See you under the Stars,
